Sam & Mikey met on the ICAD Upstarts Programme in 2011, and have been working as a creative team ever since. Since joining Boys + Girls five years ago, they’ve produced a number of award winning campaigns across a range of mediums. They’ve created live TV for Aldi, commissioned giant skulls for Jose Cuervo, tattooed the nation for The Irish Heart Foundation, saved dogs for Skoda, and played matchmakers for Three.

Over the years, they’ve bonded over their love of side projects. Writing and creating a number of short films, music videos, and their ongoing passion project - web-series, Boyz on Top. They’ve been known to work apart too. Sam is founder of creative breakfast series, the side project. While Mikey’s improv group, Auto-Correbt, sold out their run at this year’s Fringe Festival.

Sam Moorhead is Content Lead in Boys + Girls and the slightly larger half of creative team, Sam & Mikey. He has a reputation of being somewhat of a side project merchant. He runs a creative breakfast series fittingly named, “the side project”, hosts his own podcast, “Football Nostalgia”, and is creating a web-series alongside Mikey called, “Boyz on Top” which follows a failed boyband making an ill advised comeback.

During his long term stint with Boys + Girls and Mikey, he’s created award winning work for Aldi, Jose Cuervo, Skoda, Energia and The Irish Heart Foundation.


Mikey Fleming is Content Lead in Boys + Girls and the slightly smaller half of creative team, Sam & Mikey. He suffers from a severe addiction to improv, performing regularly with his two groups, “Auto-Correbt” and “Mate”. You may have seen him making stuff up in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, or during his nearly sold out show in this year’s Dublin Fringe Festival. That Monday night still haunts his dreams. He’s also hard at work with Sam on their upcoming web-series, Boyz on Top”.

Since he’s been working with Boys + Girls and Sam, he’s created award winning campaigns for Aldi, Jose Cuervo, Skoda, Energia and The Irish Heart Foundation.
